Improve Your Credit Score
You have probably heard about that mysterious number called a Credit Score. But do you really know what it is and why you should worry about it, much less work on improving it?
If your credit score is too low:
You will pay a higher interest rate when you purchase a home.
You will have to buy a cheaper home due to the paying higher interest rates.
You may not be able to purchase a home at all.
You may have to pay a higher down payment to purchase a home.
Your overall costs of buying a home will be higher.
You will have a hard time getting credit cards and other credit....and pay more for that credit, too.
By improving your credit score:
You will pay lower interest rates when purchasing a home.
You will be able to purchase a higher priced home due to paying lower interest rates.
You may be able to get a lower down payment to purchase a home.
Your overall costs of buying a home will be lower.
You will find it easier to get credit cards and other credit...and pay lower interest rates for that credit, too.
Here is a startling real estate fact that you may not know.
Because of the "housing crisis" and the current economic situation, the credit score needed to purchase a home has been getting higher and higher!
Now is the time to learn how to improve your credit score!
I have put together a credit repair team that consists of a loan officer and a credit repair specialist. I'll put you in touch with the loan officer first so he can see what your actual credit score is and how far you are from getting a loan....or if bringing your score up a little can improve your interest rate. He'll give you some ideas of things to do, send you to his credit blog and set you up on a credit score service that can help you.
If you are motivated, but need someone to work with you one on one to work on your credit, I'll send you on to my credit repair specialist. She doesn't charge my clients a fee.
